Spring is in the air, and we are proud to announce that this year, Southern Oregon Head Start will be joining the Pear Blossom Festival’s street fair! The Medford Pear Blossom Festival is an annual spring parade and festival is held in April to mark the time when pear trees that are a traditional part of the town’s economy come into blossom. The event includes seasonal activities such as a street fair, agricultural activities, and a scholarship pageant.
This year Southern Oregon Head Start will be set up at the festival’s street fair, located in downtown Medford (in front of the Lithia Motors office building) on Friday and Saturday (April 8-9th). Stop by the Head Start booth for some family fun, give aways and activities! We will be set up Friday 12pm-5pm and Saturday 11am-4pm, providing information on our programs and services, as well as hiring information and insight on becoming a Head Start employee for those interested in applying.
