What is Early Head Start?
Early Head Start (EHS) provides services to pregnant women and infants and toddlers age birth to three years. Families are served at 3 center sites:
Merriman EHS Center - 2600 Merriman Rd, Medford
West Medford EHS Center – 891 Stewart Ave., Medford
Cave Junction EHS Center – 553 E. River St., Cave Junction
We provide 3 service options:
Parent/Child Combination Option: One weekly 3.5 hour parent/child center-based group and 3 monthly home visits
Toddler Combination Option: Two weekly 3.5 hour center-based groups and 2 monthly home visits.
Full Day Infant Childcare Option (Merriman Only): To be eligible, families must be either working or living in Medford and receiving Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) subsidy from DHS.
